Get the Perfect Dolly Shot (for under $5)

We're all looking for the perfect smooth shot to replicate our favorite scene from the movies but how do we achieve the same effect for a relatively low cost? Dollies which are used on major Hollywood film sets cost thousands and the track which the dolly moves on is thousands more. So, to achieve the same quality without this type of budget we're going to need a couple things:

1. Pair of old roller skates (you can typically find this at a local yard sale for $5 or in your attic)

2. Some scrap lumber & screws (free if you have some lying around)

3. Some scrap pipe (we had some lying around but you can find some by going to a local scrap yard)

4. Tripod with Fluid Head (we're using our Magnus VT-3000)

5. Camera (we're using our Canon T5i)
